Transiidikeskus has handled 157,385 TEUs in nine months. The tonnage of goods carried in containers has decreased by 12.9% compared to the previous year.
The general goods terminal of Transiidikeskus handled in nine months 356,617 tonnes of bulk and piece goods, which is by 26.8% more than at the same period last year.
The total cargo turnover of terminals was 1,980,619 tonnes, which is 7.7% less than at the same period last year.
Transiidikeskus AS Board Chairman Erik Laidvee said that the main reason for the continuing decline is the mutual economic sanctions of the European Union and Russia.
