The international logistics giant Kühne+Nagel has selected Estonia as the location for its IT support center.
“I am more than certain that this was the right decision,” said the group’s IT manager Martin Kolbe.
The search for a suitable location for the enterprise’s IT center was launched last year already.
Kolbe, who visited Estonia together with the business delegation accompanying the President of Germany on his State visit, assured that the decisive factor in moving the IT centre to Estonia was not the volume of costs, but rather cultural compatibility and the capabilities of people residing here. “Creativity is important, as we do not want to give our employees some minor bits to work with, but rather large tasks to be fulfilled,” he explained.
The plans involve opening the group’s IT centre in Estonia this autumn.
