Tallinn University of Tehcnology’s Innovation and Business Center MEKTORY is proud to present an innovative Logistics Laboratory that will include simulation games, permanent exhibits, demos of IT-programmes and video installations. The lab will be opened in Tallinn, Raja street 15, in the middle of November.Exhibits include models that represent real life logistics activities, such as sea transport, inland transport, manufacturing and delivery. Models help to plan the dispatch and delivery of goods and calculate possible operating losses. The laboratory will be opened both for students and entrepreneurs.

I believe that TUT is making great progress in the field of logistics, especially considering the opportunities that we can now offer to our students and partners,” commented the director of MEKTORY Mrs. Tea Varrak. The creators of Logistics Lab include many important logistics companies in Nordic region such as, Estonian Railway Inc, EVR Cargo Inc, Alexela Logistics, Vopak EOS Inc, Alekon Cargo Ldt, Esteve AS, Port of Tallinn, Estonian Logistics Cluster, Port of Sillamäe, CF&S Estonia Inc, Estonian Logistics and Transit Association, Morbela Ltd and State Resources Centre Ldt.
MEKTORY is an interdisciplinary intellectual and tangible innovation center that actively engages companies, entrepreneurs, students, and faculty in project implementation. The projects involve product design and development, the creation of business models and the development of mobile and media services. MEKTORY supports knowledge and technology transfer between companies and the university. We develop the students’ teamwork skills and ensure they can practice their skills in reality.
